Energy Community Secretariat initiates a case on the Ukrainian capacity allocation rules

The Energy Community Secretariat has announnced on 26/02/2013 that it sent a letter to Ukraine in accordance with the Rules of Procedure for Dispute Settlement. According to the Secretariat, current procedures for cross border capacity allocation between Ukraine and Europe/Moldova and practical aspects of their implementation do not comply with respective ECT rules and Regulation (EC) 1228/2003 on conditions for access to the network for cross-border exchanges in electricity and the so-called Congestion Management Guidelines.
